DEMAND OUR MONEY FROM ANTI-GAY LANDLORDE

My girlfriend and i have been renting from a lady who seemed nice. We pay 800.00 a month here, we have a hard time renting in Burlington Colorado due to our orientation and our background from living in a city. We moved here, got jobs and happy and clean and clear of all old decisions. We have been really making positive changes and striving to be better. Once we were able to sign a lease we were so happy, grateful and finally proud of ourselves. Once the landlord began to ask who was at our house , every time a visitor stopped. Mainly co workers bring house warming gifts. Then we began to notice the dangerous partial maintained red flags inside. We notifies the LL and meintance. Nothing changed, I called health department and received a notice full of lies, as gay individuals we were being retaliated against for practicing our rights as renters. One week prior to the notice our place was seen screen shotted and discovered to be available for 600 a month. Though we have been paying as agreed. This is very discouraging and we are struggling finding another home, the last place in this town we looked at the women asked, "I was told a couple was coming?" I said we are, and she began to freak out making us feel like monsters. We just want justice for our situation. Its wrong and Burlington is making it a difficult task to rent and live in peace.
