SSI and SSDI Payments Allow The Disabled People to Barely Survive

Everyone has the right to live in dignity and have all their basic needs met. That is not the state of affairs for the many disabled people, relying on ssi and ssdi payments to live.
I have had epilepsy since I was 4 years old and it was finally diagnosed at 9 years old.

My ssi payment I'd $738 monthly and it covers rent and that's about all. I speak for all the disabled community as a whole. We cannot simply whine and moan but make our voices known to the mayors and senators in our counties and states. As a disability advocate for those who can't speak for themselves, I WANT TO RIGHT THE WRONGS AND SET A CYCLE IN A POSITIVE DIRECTION WHERE ALL PEOPLE LIVE WITH THEIR BASIC CORPORAL NEEDS MET: SHELTER, UTILITIES, A PHONE TO CALL PEOPLE ON AND MONEY TO LIVE.
I want to raise the basic payments minimum to $1200 monthly. Time changes and the cost of living has gone up in the last 20 years, but the cost of living index on ssi and ssdi payments have not gone up to match it. My rent takes about 75% of my "income" and people are forced to live in roach filled, high crime areas doing without even utilities. We must ban  together and present this to The President of the United States.
