Make Michael Jackson a Day of Honor

Being the King of Pop was only 1 of the legacies Michael Jackson has left behind. Michael Jackson was the most selfless entertainer this world has known. He used his platform and wealth to help others and make a positive change. It wouldn't be possible to list every amazing thing he's done. He was most likely the largest advocate for children of his time. He helped thousands upon thousands of children through sickness and tough times. He paid to rid children of cancer, invited thousands of underprivileged or sick kids to his ranch for a fun time, and made frequent trips to children's hospitals to brighten the days of sick children. He had a dream to help children through depression while they were sick by creating "The Michael Jackson's Children's Hospital" that would have an arcade and a movie theater in it. He was extremely passionate about the community and helping those in it. He donated all the money he made from Man in The Mirror (which was an example of him using his platform to insight positive change) to charity. He made so many amazing peices of work promoting a positive future, togetherness, and making the world a better place. No description of his character could do him justice. Michael Jackson was such a huge figure in our world. Unfortunately, many if not all of the amazing things he accomplished were neglected or left un noticed. Michael Jackson's legacy was not only that of a great entertainer; it was that of a revolutionary. The imprint he left on this world is that of love, care, and empathy. Like all other people who made such great impacts on this world, you do not want their legacy to be forgotten. I am petitioning for a day dedicated to not only the King of Pop, but the King of Change.
