Investigations have been conducted at various fur farms with shocking results and revelations, yet they seem to continue to profit from the cruelty to the animals within those walls.  The findings have shown that many of the animals are electrocuted and bludgeoned to death, often skinned alive for their beautiful, valuable coats.  Read more at http://headlines.peta.org/rabbits-fashion/?utm_campaign=062416%20PETA%20E-News&utm_source=PETA%20E-Mail&utm_medium=E-News

Retailers like Patricia Nash continue to promote such abuse in these farms by continuing to order pelts for fur and angora wool products for profit. These sweet animals have to live in cramped, filthy cages in total confinement. This is where they stay until they are strung up and skinned, often while still alive, screaming in total agony.  There is nothing good or humane that exist in such fur farms, subjecting all of these animals to extreme animal cruelty.

The effort of this petition is to urge the retailer, Patricia Nash to become fur and angora-free by banning all sales of these types of products.  You can help with this crucial issue by signing and sharing this petition, speaking out for these poor endangered animals.  The only way to make a difference is to stop selling these furs and angora-wool.

CEO at Patricia Nash Retailer – I was highly disturbed to learn that you are continuing to sell handbags, accessories and other numerous items made with fur and angora-wool.  You must be knowledgeable in the fact that animals like foxes, raccoons and rabbits are farmed for their fur while living in appalling conditions. They are confined in filthy, cramped crates and only taken out to be skinned, often while still alive and screaming in agony.  Other cruel methods engaged at these places include neck-breaking, suffocation, poisoning, and anal electrocution. This cruelty has got to stop.  Many other retailers like Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani, Tommy Hilfiger, Inditex, Ann Inc., H&M, QVC, Gap Inc. have made great strides in stopping the abuse by becoming fur and angora-free.  We strongly urge you to also become fur and angora-free by banning any further sales and profits of items that use these skins.  You can opt for options like faux-fur that looks and feels like animal fur without promoting cruelty to animals.  Stop the abuse and cruelty and take a stand for those without a voice.
