Does anyone think it is right, that a person should mail us this letter in a Christmas envelope we received April 12th? It placed my family in fear, as we could not go to our local police department, because some of the Exact words in this letter are the same words an officer said to me on my front porch. (See statements below & then compare letter). I have two witnesses that heard everything this officer said to me.
This person is still out there & we live in Fear. Because this person crossed the line mailing this, how do we know what he might do next? For any family member that supports anyone in with mental illness, how do you cope with the police if they no longer believe they have to serve and protect, even if a person may not be able to protect themselves?
Some how I would love to Raise Public awareness of this letter, as I cannot believe I am alone in fighting for what is right. My wife suffers from Bipolar II and it was not her fault she was off her medicine for a week, it was due to a problem with the insurance coverage that took time to get the meds ordered. My wife suffered for not having the meds and cannot be blamed for getting becoming a missing person.
Police never took missing persons report from me, did not want to help and told me all people with mental illness should be locked up! Meanwhile we live in Fear that retaliation might be the next motive for making this department look bad, and we want to move from this community that does not support us here.
Seeking action to uncover the person who wrote it, and desire a reprimand for the officer who took matters into his own hands, so that this does not happen to anyone else in the public sector.
Governor John Kasich of Ohio
We seek action for a proper investigation which includes fingerprints, DNA and handwriting analized to uncover the person who wrote a disturbing letter and mailed it.
We desire a reprimand for the officer who took matters into his own hands, so that this does not happen to anyone else in the public sector.
We seek you to stand up for the little people who chose to live in your state and fight for their cause of injustice in the system of how people are treated by law enforcement officers by upgrading the system in this state, be whatever means it take to acomplish it.
When crisis intervention is needed by the public, they can be dealt with in a more fair and sentistive fashion to the needs, especially in regards to families or care takers of anyone who suffers from any type of mental illness.
When a person is deemed an "High at risk" medical condition, that may require the help of law enforcement to see the person reaches at medical facility to see a doctor. Instead of being told a person with mental illness is an adult and can make decisions on their own, without any help at all.
