Phuket Zoo Must Be Shut Down!!
Phuket Zoo must be the worst zoo in the world regarding animal cruelty. Tigers and bears are drugged and chained up 24/7 so people can sit on themand have their photos taken with them. Elephants ride transport and go on tightropes as well as performing other dangerous and un-natural tricks. The "educational" monkey show contains a variety of monkeys and apes (including orang-utans) riding bycicles, playing basketball and dressing up. Even the crocodiles are abused during their show as they have their entire body lifted and thrown around by the keepers.
And the animals who don't perform in these horrible shows, spend every day in small, filthy, un-natural and cruel enclosures. Please help us in our efforts to shut this horrible place down!!
