Please sign and share this petition on all your media sites in an effort to get a more severe punishment for a man who threw the family's Chihuahua Jack Russell mix dog into the Christmas tree because he was angry at his wife. He stated that he believed she loved the dog move than him. He was sentenced with second-degree animal cruelty!

A recent story surfaced in Portland, Oregon regarding a man who was involved in a domestic dispute with his wife. When police arrived at the home of Mr. Taylor Isaac Jenson, they found the intoxicated man in altercations with his mom and wife and had just thrown the family's dog at the Christmas tree because he believed the wife like it more than him. Mr. Jenson states that he freaked out when he picked up the dog, started to strangle it and then throw it at the tree. Police saw it shaking and whining when they arrived.

Supposedly, Mr. Jenson was just discharged from the Navy and trying to get back into normal civilian life. There was no evidence or speculation that he was suffering from PTSD. During the evening at home, he got into a heated argument with his mom and wife that led to him taking his angers out on the family dog. As a result of the incident, he was charged with a second-degree animal cruelty offense and fourth-degree assault. He clearly needs to be charged with first-degree felony animal abuse as well as domestic abuse charges. Help us to ensure he gets the full punishment he deserves through this petition.

Judge Kathleen M. Dailey In Oregon Judicial System - This man, Mr. Taylor Isaac Jenson needs to be more severely charged with at least first degree felony animal cruelty and domestic abuse charges. Anyone who harms an animal out of anger should also be banned from ever again having or being near another animal the rest of his life. In fact, it sounds like this guy should also enter some mandatory anger management courses so he can learn not to take his anger out on animals or humans during any type of dispute.
