Reduce the high prices of beer in British Columbia at Happy Hour

  • by: Gordon Wilson
  • recipient: Everyone in the Province of British Columbia as well Canada who drinks beer

The Government has once again taken the champagne of the working man (BEER)and raised the price of a 20oz pint from $4.25 anytime to $5.00 for Happy Hour. I would not call this a Happy Hour special. I would call it another goverment tax on the backs of the working man.

In Washington State on Happy Hour (which lasts 3 hours from 4:00pm until 7:00pm) a 18oz of beer at the Bellweather Hotel is U.S.$2.00 and at Anthony's or The Hearthfire it is U.S.$3.50  Thats more like a Happy Hour.

Why is the Government of B.C. punishing us the working People of this province not to mention the retired people who also enjoy a couple of beers.

Let's take a stand against this price increase initated by the Provincial Government and demand a proper Happy Hour price for beer.

The reason being is because you have worked hard enough for a few beers and demand proper pricing.

Enough is enough gouging buy the B.C. Government. We pay enough taxes together with road tolls and everything else to keep them afloat.

It;s time the B.C. Government gave us a break !!!
