Marriage is about love not base on how you look. We wait long enough to speak our mind its your time now. This is the land of the free its not we should who we should get married with its none of the religious groups or the government to tell us who we need to married. Religion needs to stop enter fearing with people lives or the government affairs. They have no right to do that.

I think that anyone who pays taxes has just as equal rights as anyone else.Homosexual pay just like heterosexuals but why cant we have the same privilages. When any other subject comes up about war, alcohol, drugs, murder, etc. nobody goes to the biblical terms but when gay marriage is brought up the US wants to be HOLY! Why is that???? Just Doesnt make since at all

I am ready and have been ready for a change for a while.

Denying gay marriage/ civil union is a discrimination of sexual preference and religion should not play a part in the decision of making it legal separation of church and state is a big part of the constitution and it is being broken by allowing religious figures to make our laws as well as our constitutional right to choose who we want to spend the rest of our life together i mean if 2 guys cannot get married because of sex why should it be legal for separate races to get married i mean no offense and i am not against it i am just using it an an analogy

i love my wife and would love to make it official and to share it with my loved ones as well. i don't feel you should be told who can get married and who can't. we should all be treated equal not as indaviduals.

yes, lets take a stand and make a diffrence in the world that we will love no matter who likes it.

i am in a beautiful relationship and i would love to share it with all our family celebrating our love and friendship in holly matramony.we want to have a beautiful wedding full of love and joy in one state instead of having one ceremony in one state and the reception in another.i just feel as long as two people love each other they should have the right to join in the eyes of their loved ones.

yes, due the fact love comes in many diffrent forms and who is to judge who can get married and who can't.

Love is love, and NO ONE has the right to say otherwise. The gay community doesn't protest straight marriage, so why should straight people protest gay marriage?!

I am ready for a change.

it is given right for people to be allowed to marry who ever they wish, regardless of what their sexuality is. America will never be the land of the free until everyone has the same equal rights regardless of their sexuality. everyone should be allowed to join the army, adopt, get married, be blood donors, etc. regardless of their sexuality

I am currently living in columbia, sc. I am gay and i believe that if you love someone within the heart, they should be able to get married. Why should we be different because we are same sex....? I mean they have gay churches in south carolina, so why not make it legal to be able to get married like a regular man and woman couple.

I am definately ready for change...I support gay marriages...

No one can help who they fall inlove with, gay marrige needs to be legalized not only in NC but everywhere, this is something that needs to be done, people who believe men are only here for woman and woman are only here for men are ignorant and inmature. No one can help what they are, a straight man or woman can't help that they are attracted to the opposite sex just like a gay man or woman can't help that they are attracted to the same sex. I just don't understand how people can be so ignorant to really have a problem with gay marrige, whats it bothering them? How does it have ANYTHING to do with them? Why can't people just let other people be happy... This world is turning out to be full of awful and hateful people and it's just really sad...

YES THERE NEEDS TO BE A CHANGE!
