Just like being African American or Mexican, you can't change how you are born, and you are no better or worse than anyone else. It is rediculous to not let people wed because of sexual orientation. I am a strait woman with a loving husband and two wonderful children. Why should I be the only one that is happy? Marriage is about love, not the sex of your partner. Although, I, myself, am not gay/lesbian, my cousin is. I believe that he, his partner, and any other gay/lesbian couple should have the right to exchange marital vows. How can we be considered the " Home of the FREE, and land of the BRAVE" if gay couples aren't given the right to BRAVELY and FREELY marry who they want?? What gives the government ANY RIGHT to pick and choose who can and who can't exchange Marital vows ? Free Country??? What a FALSE Statement!! What a bunch of Hypocrits!!!

Living in the uk, i didnt realise that gay marriage was illegal in the usa! Thats rediculous, but if this petition doesnt come to anything, you could suerly get married in another country (although i realise that's not the point!)
