Help abused and neglected hunting dogs in Nebraska!

Each year hunting dogs in Nebraska are neglected and abused; and simply because they are labled hunting dogs, they are not rescued or helped. Some people believe that hunting dogs are tough; and do not need the same care that other dogs receive. Hunting dogs are usually sweet, gentle creatures that would rather sit by a caring person's chair, and be given attention, than to be someone's tool to be used, yet each year these dogs are allowed to be neglected and abused, because they are considered objects owned.
Many people disagree with this attitude and would like to see these animals rescued and placed in good homes, with caring owners.
We want to see legislation stating specifically, that neglected and abused animals must be rescued regardless of their breed. We want the legislation to state that any; and all measures will be taken to rescue abused and neglected dogs, and we want to see legislation stating laws which would allow and insist that hunting dogs, and all breeds of dogs  be rescued from neglectful and abusive owners. This includes clean and safe pens for outdoor dogs, clean and nutritious food made for dogs, and clean fresh water everyday, shade in the summer, and shelter from weather. Please help these wonderful dogs by creating legislation, and supporting legislation for the rescue of hunting dogs and all breeds; and regulating care of dogs. Thanks you!
