I've suffered from this illness for over 6 years now, has taken over/ruined my life, destroyed my plans and the worst thing about it is, most people, including nurses and doctors, have never heard of it.  Surviving with this illness is hard enough as is, without having to deal with reciting symptoms, prescriptions, triggers, etc.  Please help me promote greater awareness for this rare illness.

We the undersigned wish to promote awareness for the illness, known as Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome. 

The illness has been relatively unknown in past years, but I would like to urge care  proffessionals (doctors, nurses, dentists, gastroenterologists, etc) to become more aware of the illness, ways to treat and, in a nutshell, eliminate ignorance on the syndrome.

CVS takes it's toll on the body and the mind, and explaining symptoms, as well as other finer points of the illness, are not how I enjoy living my life.  My request is simply to include Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome in the physician's educational curriculum, so misdiagnosis can be prevented in the future and we can go on with our mostly uneventful lives, in peace.
