Help us save DASH & STRETCH from being cut!
DASH and STRETCH are award winning programs that have been sponsored by our city for the last ten years. But now the city's saying it will no longer fund these programs!
DASH is a very popular program with high demand for the limited number of slots at each participating school. Why? Because this free program provides structured after school activities for 1st - 6th grade children including, but not limited to sports clinics, arts and crafts, cooperative games, and traditional playground games. Here, everyone participates.
STRETCH helps students meet or exceed state content standards in reading and math in a fun, camp-like atmosphere. They do this by incorporating literature, drama, and art.
Please help us save these core programs!
We the undersigned are trying to save two award winning programs for the benefit of our children and their contintued education through core enrichment programs.
Please help us in showing the Chula Vista school district and our city council that DASH and STRETCH are an essential part of our children's education.
