Children grow up quickly, and in the process they need positive reinforcement and assurance of love and security.  Too often in today's stressful and fast-paced society children sometimes feel ignored, not listened to, or only the target of criticism.  When is the last time you "caught a child being good" and told him or her?  When was the last time you gave a child a hug, did something silly and laughed with them?
