On November 1, 2007 Licking County Children Services in conjunction (complicity of) Licking County prosecuter's office falsified an ex-parte which had the last names of my 2 step children and daughter misspelled (violation of the 4th amendment)into the licking county Juvenile Court. They alledged homelessness,and mental illness of myself and fiancee dana has their grounds for takeing the children, On April 1-2 2008 we had adjucdication/disposition hearings whereupon we had 350 witness's to be supeonaed i n our favor of which was denied by the court to our attornies. my attorney only had my case less than a week, the discovery was broad and vague, and was inmaterial to our case it involved my fiancee's x-husbands children taken prior to. these acts all served to prohibit our due process as secured by the us constitution, the GAL went with the state and denied the childrens due process rights as well. This is hynaous and barbabric, juvenile court is a mockery to justice and acts in complicity with cps a war against the constitutional rights of parents and the natural law which establishes birth. This current sysytem is based on exploiting federal funds to secure a latent buracracy hell bent on family destruction. the states use the best interest of kids to fill their own powers and create jobs that are appointed not elected in. the very process of how cps is ordained violates the rights of the people to decide whom controls them and therir resources.

Having the same problem in Texas. I have been hounded by CPS here because of my diagnoses. I went to a very good out-patient program here in Corpus Christi, and have been more sane than ever. Unfortunately, the CPS, my former Psychologist and the MHMR are still threatening my children and myself. I am an activist and advocate. I am a member of NAMI, I think there is something going on that people do not want to speak about, because we are afraid.

Our 3 beautiful children were taken from us and later adopted out. It didn't matter that there were several well qualified family members to take them, they chose instead to place them with strangers. It didn't even matter that they were native american children. C.P.S. got away with violating the Indian Child Welfare Act. The common man has no defense against such a system so filled with lies deceit and corruption. Their primary aim is no longer -if it ever was- to protect children from abuse or mistreatment but instead it is the black market wholesaling of children for monetary gain. The way funding is set up from the federal government it is in the best interest of these agencies to place as many children with "prospective foster families" as possible. Little if any but cursory attempt is made in any endeavor to reunite families. The system is not set up to prosper financially in this way, in fact the opposite is true and any resources allocated toward reunification of families becomes a "drain" on the system. What can an average citizen do to defend against this? who can afford a high powered attorney? It makes me feel as though we are in a dictatorial society. This must be how parents felt when the Nazis stole away their youth to induct them into Hitler's Youth Corps; inevitably many children end up becoming juvenile delinquents with out the family bond and invirornment of love and nurturing. Who they are as people has a lot to do with knowing from whence they came. I hope with the millions of people affected by this evil system somehow someway all our voices will be heard and this horror will end.

A tape recorder should be allowed and utilized in all interactions regarding CPS, foster parents, and court systems involving children. Juvenile officers, judges, GALs, CPS workers are just like other humans and capable of lying to benefit themselves, obtain job security, and to esblish power. Before removing children, a creditble psychologist, counseling, and psychiatrist should be involved and evidence should be collected by this team of experts, along with making a decision to remove children. It is proven that the foster care environment is dangerous to children and becomes increasingly dangerous the longer a child(ren) remain in foster care.

I am a single mother of four children. I ran a business out of my home so that I could stay home and raise my children while still paying my bills. My children and I were together 24/7 for the past 6 years. In those 6 years my children never went to a babysitter. I never went anywhere without them. Even when I gave birth my children stayed with me in the hospital. My life revolved around my children and I was their world as well. I am all they ever knew. My only form of punishment for my children was “time out”. This has been well documented in CPS records. Now imagine how you would feel if one day your door is kicked down by police and Child Protection Services caseworkers even if you never done anything wrong! This is what happened to my family. Legal Definition for Kidnapping: The crime of unlawfully seizing and carrying away a person by force or “fraud”, or seizing and detaining a person against his or her will with an intent to carry that person away at a later time. I was home schooling my oldest son. After a mendacious “anonymous” phone tip, CPS and police came to my home, searched it, and interrogated me and my children. They found “no safety concerns”. CPS’s only concern after completion of their “investigation” was that I had not sent my annual “intent to home school” letter to the district for that year. So I complied and sent the letter. CPS came back to my home 2 months later, with the police, just to “ask” me if I was still home schooling my son. 4 months later my door was kicked down by police and CPS. When questioned as to their reason for a “violent entry” search of my home, CPS caseworker stated that they have the right to see my children every 30 days. I was informed that they wanted to see my children only 12 business days prior to my door being kicked down. I made 3 phone calls attempting to set up an appointment for CPS to view my children. I left a message to that effect. Never received a response until my door was kicked down and my children were taken. Once CPS takes your children they force them into Foster Care for months, years, and/or permanently. Once they “remove” children from their homes they treat them like cattle. The rush them to doctors and dentists who poke and prod at these already terrified children. Why? They are attempting to find a “legitimate” reason for their unnecessary removal of our children. They are hoping that the doctors and dentists will find something… “anything” to justify their unconstitutional removal of these children. In my case they found a few cavities. Although I had taken my children to the dentist on several occasions, the dentist refused to fill my son’s cavities because they were on his “baby teeth”. He was 8 years old at that time so the dentist felt the teeth would fall out on their own very soon. He stated as long as the cavities are not causing my son any pain there was nothing to worry about. One of the reasons I was found to be an “unfit” parent by Judge Katherine Delgado was because of the cavities. The other reason Judge Katherine Delgado found me to be an “unfit” parent are as follows: 1. I had just lost my job, even though I was receiving child-support and I had help with my mortgage, Judge Delgado stated that I had no way of supporting my children. My father and I both testified that I had been the sole provider for my children for 8 years. I had paid my mortgage, car payment, ect… for the past 6 years by myself without any help. My father also testified that he had no problem helping me with my bills until I found another job. (I would like to go further and say that prior to having my home built 7 years ago, I had been self-sufficient since I was 17 years old) 2. Judge Delgado stated “because the fathers don’t see the kids” and “how ridiculous that is”. How is that my fault? I cannot force the fathers to participate in the children’s life. I certainly never stopped them from doing so. The fathers made that choice themselves. 3. Judge Delgado stated I failed to provide dental care for my children. CPS caseworker Amy Boone knew that statement was untrue, but continued to intentionally mislead Judge Delgado into believing it. 4. Judge Delgado stated she had “serious concerns regarding my mental stability. (because I was always crying at the hearings. Who wouldn’t cry if their children were stolen from them?). Judge Delgado later confirmed her “opinion” of my mental stability by my appearance (my hair had went flat from the snow, and I had no makeup on that day). She stated how “terrible” I looked and she stated that “my appearance confirmed her original opinion of my mental stability”. I have since took a psychological evaluation and passed. That’s it. That’s all it took for Judge Katherine Delgado to find me “unfit”. CPS submitted NO evidence. Apparently CPS hearsay (whether truth or not) is good enough to convince a judge to let CPS keep our children. “Dependency & Neglect” proceeding are a civil matter. Therefore, parents are not protected by the constitution. We are not entitled to “fair” or “equal” justice. Studies show that roughly 48 out of every 50 children taken by CPS never “fit” the criteria for removal. Studies also show that after these children have been removed by CPS to “safety”, they are 6 times more likely to die, suffer abuse, neglect, and molestation, than in the general public. So why would they unnecessarily take them from their parents if the children were never abused or neglected? For cash! CPS is an “Empire” built on taking children and destroying American families! In order to keep those federal dollars flowing they need to take more children. Facts: Adams County (Colorado) received an estimated $3,900,000 in Title IV-E Funding in 2008. Title IV-E is a Grant given by our Federal Government to cover costs of Public Foster Care & Adoption Assistance. The children cannot live with their parents or other relatives in order for the County to receive that money. They can only receive that $3.9 million if the children are kept in Public Foster Care. If separating the family is not devastating enough for the children and parents, it gets worse… CPS then adopts out your children to strangers, and there is nothing you can do to stop it. Why wouldn’t they let the children go back home? “Adoption Incentive Bonuses”. Our children, once they are sold (adopted) then have a cash value of $4000 to $8000 a piece. Kind of like selling a car. But that is just a fraction of the money that the children can bring in for the State & Counties. Qualifying children can get the County “Adoption Subsidies”, which are monthly payments that range between $400 to $700 per child until the child reaches the age of 18. This is the “jackpot” and the goal, that if reached, caseworkers are then rewarded. If they are not abused or neglected children then how are they able to take the children? Some caseworkers will maliciously fabricate allegations against the family in order to convince a judge that the removal was necessary. Who can parents turn to for help? Nobody! What can we do to change this? Help bring this corruption to light. My name is Shauna Robinson from Henderson, Colorado and this is what happened to my 4 innocent children. Although they have not been adopted yet, Adams County is currently attempting to terminate my rights so they can adopt out my kids. My trial is set for 7/28/2009. I’m not even entitled to a jury trial, just a trial in front of the same judge (Judge Patrick Murphy) who has already been prejudiced by caseworkers Amanda Schmidt, Amy Boone, and Melody Jablonski, by way of perjury. I thought as an American citizen the constitution protected my right to “fair” hearing and equal protection of the laws, but not in family court. CPS keeps child abuse and neglect in civil court so that they can get away with this legalized kidnapping. Only criminals are protected by the constitution, NOT parents. Adams County caseworkers are taking children left and right. They take children with little or no reason, or just because they have the power to do so. Our own government states that the reason they have that power is because our children are “the property” of the government first, then the parents! My children are my life! I am so lost without them and there is nobody willing to help me. I have called every child advocate in the state of Colorado and the minute I tell them that “CPS unjustly took my children”, they tell me there is nothing they can do to help. They say that’s a problem that needs to be handled between me and CPS. Adams County targets “low income” families because they know we don’t have the resources to fight them. Please stop them from selling our children. Someone PLEASE help me raise awareness about this criminal political phenomenon.

I agree that Fremont county's Social Service Office is very one sided and I know of several instances where confidentialty is a flat out lie that the office uses to get the information they want and then turn and use it against you. Luckily, I went with my gut instinct and kept this office out of our family problems. The social worker really wanted me to agree to get them involved, but I just knew that would be a BIG MISTAKE!! And, afterwords, found out I did the right thing. Seems like when there is a real crisis, they aren't there and when it's a minor, very common indicent, they are all over like a swarm of locust! I'm glad I'm out of that county!!!!!

I too, had my baby removed at birth, right out of the hospital. DSS is extremely corrupt. They get federal funds for removing children. DSS lied and said I was mentally ill, even though their own psychologist wrote that I had no mental illness. They took my daughter and put her in a foster home and she was sexuall abused by a nine year old boy in there from infancy to age two. I have her back and she is damaged for life and in therapy. I hate DSS and you need to listen to Susan, because she is telling the truth.
