Increase income assistance rates for people with disabilities, to a level that provides an adequate living standard; index new rates to the cost of living. This petition is for people that are unable to work due to a legitimate disability. This is NOT a petition for people on welfare that choose not to work but are able to work. Stop the discrimination against disabled people by making them live in poverty. These canadians did not choose to have a disability.
