The Government of The Bahamas and the Bahamas Electricity Corporation are building a Bunker C power plant in Wilson City, Abaco. Bunker C power plants are toxic and can cause irreparable havoc on environment. We the undersigned do not want a Bunker C power plant to be built in Wilson City, Abaco. Due to the persistence and toxic emissions of this type of oil we feel it is a very imprudent decision of the Government of The Bahamas to place this type of power plant is such a pristine and delicate environmental location. As concerned persons of The Bahamas and the Earth we ask that you rescind on your decision and take more time to find an environmentally safer alternative to supplying The Abacos with electricty.
