STOP FACTORY FARMING NOW!!!

Target:
the Government, department of agriculture and farming
Many people think farming is pigs or chickens running around a spacious field. Sadly, this is far from the truth. Most meat has been factory farmed. Factory farmed animals never see the light of day. Pigs are trapped in cages so small they can hardly take one step. Chickens, ducks and turkeys and piled into sheds. Thousands in one tiny shed. They are trampled by each other, get burned from all the faeces littering the floor (in their short lifespans the shed isn't cleaned out even once) and get fed so much they are really fat, so they are ready to be killed after six weeks. Because they are so fat, many of them won't be able to walk, not that walking's much use to them anyway because there isn't enough room.

END FACTORY FARMING
BEFORE IT ENDS US

Not only is the treatment of factory farming inhumane but it's not healthy for us to comsume! Bird Flu, Mad Cow, Swine Flu, they all originated in these farms! If you are going to eat meat Buy ORGANIC or from a local farmer in your area!!!

the agony, pain, fear and confussion that these innocent animals endure can only be stopped by those of us who deeply care. Remember...these are not farms or farmers like we have known. These are concentration camps for animals owned by huge corporations that care about our health the same way their workers care for the tortured animals. Support your local farmer who still raises livestock as they should be raised and are treated humanely in the end.

Factory farming must come to an end, it is inhumane the way the Animals are cramped in their tiny spaces. Most factoryfarms do not abide by the standard regulations for the Animals welfare.

Farmers should not see only money! Becouse having animals like that is cheaper. More and more animals in still the same factory farm, they will do it. Animal sold = money. Economic is calling for it? So what? Its problem of factories to raise animal properly, kill properly. GIVE US PROPERLY GREW ANIMALS KILLED IN GOOD WAY - WITHOUT SUFFERING. We are eating them, so let them have proper life at least! Human should stay human, in the god sake. Human founded "rights for himself - did he forgot animal at all?

I have been eating meat since I was little and recently a Blood Type Diet came out that specifies me as a TYPE O needs meat more then anything else in my diet or else suffer weight gain and lethargicness etc which i know is true because I do feel sick to say the least without protein and not tofu! BUT HAVING SAID THIS, I IN NOW WAY ADVOCATE THE VICIOUS INHUMANE MASS SLAUGHTER METHODS USED IN FACTORIES AND I DO NOT ADVOCATE THE RIDICULOUS CIRCUMSTANCES THESE POOR ANIMALS SUFFER EVEN B4 EVEN BEING KILLED. I'M APPALLED AND HEARTBROKEN BEYOND BELIEF. IN MY CULTURE YOU RESPECT EVERY LIVING THING FOR IT IS NOT YOURS IT BELONGS TO GOD OR WHATEVER YOU WANT TO CALL IT THE UNIVERSE, THE LIFE FORCE ETC...THEREFORE IF YOU ARE GOING KILL SOMETHING, FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF SURVIVAL (NOT FOR ITS FUR OR ITS TUSKS OR ITS FREAKING HAND TO MAKE GORILLA HAND ASHTRAYS FOR GODSAKES) BUT ONLY FOR HEALTH PURPOSE TO EAT AND STAY ALIVE, YOU KILL IT RESPECTFULLY. THOUGH IT SOUNDS LIKE AN OXYMORON AND SO WHAT IF A BOOK SAYS IT, MY OWN HEART BELIEVES THE TRUTH TO THAT SOMEHOW BECAUSE PEOPLE HAVE BEEN EATING MEAT SINCE BEGINNING OF TIME AND ONLY KILLED FOR THE MEAT ONCE UPON A TIME, AND ANIMAL MEAT HAS MANY BENEFITS, AND THEY ARE HERE FOR MANY REASONS TO ENHANCE THE EARTH OBVIOUSLY...SO THEN TO 'KILL" FOR PURPOSE ABOVE, WITH RESPECT, MEANS YOU DO NOT FRIGHTEN THE ANIMAL, YOU DONT TORTURE OR INFLICT HARM TO THE ANIMAL, YOU DO NOT ANGER THE ANIMAL, AND FOR SURE YOU WILL HAVE LET IT LIVE A HEALTHY LIFE WHICH INCLUDES ROAMING FREE!!!! I DONT CARE THAT IT WILL COST A FORTUNE, THERE IS A WAY, PEOPLE NEED TO STOP THE CRUELTY FOR MONEY IS NOTHING AT THE END OF THE DAY IT IS SOOOO EXPENDABLE AND VANISHES IN THE DUST, BUT HUMANITY NEVER WILL

I think factory farming is a horrific pratice that is unsustainable both for society and the enviroment, not to mention the terrible abuse that the animals have to go thru on a daily basis. I would love to see the end of factory farming.

Anyone who decides to continue eating industrially farmed animals should spend just 1 hour in a factory farm, then another hour at the slaughterhouse. If you can't do that, you acknoledge that your personal emotional comfort is more important than widescale torture and slaughter. Vegetarianism is easy, healthy, tasty and environmentally friendly. Free range meat can also be purchased for the occasional meal if one so chooses, but factory farmed meat is wrong. If you wouldn't want it to happen to your pet dog or cat, understand that it is immoral to promote such cruelty for convenience.

surely paying a few more pence for a free range animal, is worth saving a condemned factory farm animal for. see sense people, we're on this earth for such a short time, profit is not everything, compassion, justice and pride are the virtues our society must uphold
