Many people think farming is pigs or chickens running around a spacious field. Sadly, this is far from the truth. Most meat has been factory farmed. Factory farmed animals never see the light of day. Pigs are trapped in cages so small they can hardly take one step. Chickens, ducks and turkeys and piled into sheds. Thousands in one tiny shed. They are trampled by each other, get burned from all the faeces littering the floor (in their short lifespans the shed isn't cleaned out even once) and get fed so much they are really fat, so they are ready to be killed after six weeks. Because they are so fat, many of them won't be able to walk, not that walking's much use to them anyway because there isn't enough room.

im very saddened that only a few petitions about the horrific confined animal production factories! as soon as i became informed on HSUS and youtube, I had no ethical choice but to becomes vegan. Realistically I travel and its not always easy being vegan when dining at others homes and resturants, so I maintain flexibility, but I am about 97%. its works because I have tons more energy, and lost 20 pounds in a year....probably from switching to unsweetened soy milk and almost zero animal fat.

Aquellas peliculas de terror donde la gente sufre el maltrato, el miedo, el dolor, la humillacion, la angustia, el terror, no es ninguna ficcion para los animales utilizados por los humanos, sino su dia a dia, su minuto a minuto. Evolucionemos espiritualmente y que nuestro bienestar no signifique el dolor de los demas seres. Dejar ser feliz a otros es ademas una de las satisfacciones mas sublimes que podremos experimentar.

For a young woman who has raised cattle, pigs, sheep, and poultry her whole life does not believe that meat is unhealthy for you. I do believe, and as an animal rights activist, that factory farming has gone to far. there are actual investagations that are on video showing living conditions of the animals and most people continue to turn there heads to the animal abuse. We need to continue to do our part and keep the people around us informed about the rights of these animals. They dont have voices but we do!

I'm already a Vegan and wouldn't touch any animal products including eggs or dairy. Good luck to you guys who make a living raising slaughter house animals, start going back to school for computer jobs. You will need them. We are going to close you down.

Not only is the treatment of factory farming inhumane but it's not healthy for us to comsume! Bird Flu, Mad Cow, Swine Flu, they all originated in these farms! If you are going to eat meat Buy ORGANIC or from a local farmer in your area!!!
