The method of placing tubes or sticks in the mouths of galgos (Spanish greyhounds) to ensure they can't eat or drink and die a long slow agonising death over several days when they are no longer wanted or needed is barbaric and completely unacceptable to all civilised people.  It has to be STOPPED!!!
Galgos are Spanish greyhounds used for hunting hares in the countryside. At the end of hunting season, they are often hung or this method, as seen in the photo, is employed because it costs nothing. It is SICK.
We, the undersigned, are outraged, disturbed and angered at the barbaric treatment of galgos in Spain.  The method of placing sticks or tubes in their mouths to prevent them eating or drinking thus ensuring a long, slow, agonising death when they are no longer wanted or needed is perverted and unacceptable to civilised animal lovers everywhere.  It has to be STOPPED!
We look forward to hearing from you regarding this issue in the near future.
