Circus animals are almost always mistreated by the circus.
~Did you know that they often use spiked hooks and dig them into elephants' skin to dominate them? And if the elephant gets out of hand, usually it is gunned down and killed.
~With traveling circuses, animals travel in boxcars or trailers for days without the things they need like food, water, and care from vets. It is also usually either very hot or very cold.
~Tigers and lions usually are stuck in cages 4 ft X 7 ft X 7 ft, two cats in each cage.
~The

We all believe that the treatment of animals in circuses is unfair and cruel. We would like to ban animal circuses in New York State to try to stop the unjust way the animals are treated. We'd like you to help us by supporting us and representing our views when possible.
