Let's put an end to the approach of leaving it entirely up to friends or parents to teach teens about sex.  Parents play an important role in preventing teen pregnancy, but they can't do it alone.  Many teens are choosing to have sex, and they need to be getting the most accurate information possible.  Access to comprehensive sex education is one part of the solution to teen pregnancy, but teens also need easy access to contraception and communities that support them in making thoughtful decisions about their futures.  Sign the petition below to urge your Massachusetts legislators to support Teen Pregnancy Prevention funding in the state budget.  Make your voice heard on why every teen needs access to accurate and complete information to make healthy decisions about sex, relationships and life!

Providing resources to communities to implement sex education, helps guarantee teens get the information they need to make healthy decisions. I urge you to support Teen Pregnancy Prevention (DPH 4530-9000) in the fiscal year 2011 state budget.
