Tell Senate to Vote NO on Keystone XL

In November, President Obama delayed the construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline, which threatens to contaminate drinking-water supplies in the Sand Hills region of Nebraska.

Now, Senate Republicans are trying to force through legislation that strips Obama's ability to stop the pipeline by attaching legislation giving Congress authority to approve the project to a must-pass transportation bill.

The Senate could vote as early as tomorrow on the proposal, which puts the interests of Big Oil ahead of concern for clean water. Act now to tell the Senate to reject the construction of the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline.
We the undersigned urge you to reject the construction of the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline.

The legislation attached to the current transportation bill puts the interests of Big Oil ahead of concern for drinking-water supplies in the Sand Hills region of Nebraska, which would be contaminated by the project.

Please put concerns for the health of people and the environment ahead of the interests of the Big Oil by rejecting any legislation that would advance the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline.

Thank you for your attention to this important matter.
