Save Horse Boarding in Barrington Hills

Barrington Hills has forever been an equestrian community.  However, due to what started as a neighborly dispute, boarding horses, irrespective of size, is at stake.  The Village zoning board refuses to amend its zoning code to allow boarding and therefore barns are being forced to cease and desist.  More than twenty barns will have to move their boarders and businesses elsewhere.  Please sign the petition asking The Village of Barrington Hills to amend the village code to make boarding horses an allowable use of land!

To the Village of Barrington Hills,

We the people feel that the village zoning code needs to be amended to make the boarding of horses, irrespective of size, an allowable use of land and property.

Barrington Hills has an extensive history as an equestrian community not only for residents but for those who commute.  To make boarding an illegal usage of property is to destroy our history.
