There is continual issues of states with segregated areas throughout the United States, violating many human’s civil rights.  As noted in the attached information, note information that “nonviolent protesters who stood up to racial injustice suffered brutal mistreatment at the hands of police, ultimately changing the course of history.” Read https://www.npca.org/advocacy/41-help-preserve-pivotal-sites-from-america-s-civil-rights-history

Protestors remain diligent is the struggle for equality through a bill H. R. 4817 and the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The bill is a new effort for the Birmingham Civil Rights National Historical Park Act where those who have fought for equality through brutal violence would be honored in a monumental manner.  Birmingham in Alabama has been one of the most segregated places and these areas represent a time in the civil rights movement when a group of determined citizens stood firm in the fight for equality and human dignity.” Such efforts are now proposed to be honored through a Birmingham Civil Rights National Historical Park.

The Birmingham Civil Rights National Historical Park would be a crucial step in honoring the events of those standing up for civil rights. We are asked to support this momentous area in support of the bill H. R. 4817 for the Birmingham Civil Rights National Historical Park Act as a means of preserving Civil Rights History.  You can help me in promoting this issue by signing and sharing this petition, adding your own thoughts and comments in favor of those who stood up for their rights.
