Stop Gaming Console Companies From Charging to Play Online/Online Memberships

Getting a customer to pay to play online is a scam.

Many video games are multiplayer-focused or have massive multiplayer components.  We have already paid for the game. We have paid for the console to play it on. We have paid for our own monthly internet. We have paid for our homes to house our systems. Paying $60 to play online a year is trickery and every gamer should see through this. Large game companies, such as Steam, do just fine without charging consumers to play online. The whole concept of paying to play online is unnecessary. It is simply the large, already successful, gaming corporations wanting to take from their customers for all that they are worth. We see through the trickery and we demand to stop charging us for services we are already paying for.
