Ban all trapping, baiting, hounders and sports hunting, put away animal serial killers.

Hunters and governement officials have been setting traps in public places where children play and people walk their dogs.  There has been reports of people's dogs getting caught in these traps and dying from them, as well as children getting caught in these traps. And no one is doing anything to get these traps removed. It's only a matter of time before a child dies in one of these traps. Links are included

Every day, hunters, game hunters, ranchers and farmers are killing our public wild life. Poachers also, are killing our wild life. We are tax payers, we have the right to our wild life the majority of people wants to keep our wild life safe from people who wishes to do them harm. Hunters are out of control, there has been reports of hunters deliberately placing traps in public places and on private property killing people's pets. Even children has gotten caught in these traps.

And to quote from this source, animal rights. About. com:

“Unintended Victims

Another problem with any kind of trap is the lack of discrimination. For every intended victim of the traps, there are 2 to 10 unintended victims: birds, porcupines, deer, cats, dogs and other animals are caught, maimed and killed in traps. Even animals listed under the Endangered Species Act are caught and killed. In the industry, these unintended victims are referred to as “trash” animals. There have also been cases where children were caught in these traps.”

Authorities needs to regain control of hunters, ranchers and farmers and they also need to start listening to the full public, not just the small percent of hunters that makes up an entire state. Everyone has the right to say what can happen to wild life, not just them. Which brings up another point I want to make. If hunters can have a license to kill, why can't people have a license to keep wild animals away from harm? Why do we have to bend over backwards, jump through hoops and so on while hunters and government officials can get away with shooting and killing not only our wild life, but our pets and companions such as dogs and cats.

Hunters, and the government, are also at fault for killing the critically endangered American Bald Eagle, they were never fined, in fact they were told to keep quiet about it, and to bury the bird somewhere else. And the Wild life services is also guilty of this, just like when an employee shot and killed an endangered Mexican wolf. These people aren't protecting our wild life, they're aiding in killing them. We are citizens of the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, we are the world and voice for animal rights and we have the right to vote for our wild life, we have the rights to keep them from harm. Money won't silence us, nor will we back down.

Now for a quote,

“The livestock industry is behind the slaughter of buffalo, mustangs, any and all grazing wildlife, accommodated by the government who are happy to cater to ranchers and farmers. Welfare Ranchers have done nothing for anybody except themselves, constantly taking from taxpayer money, blaming wild horse herds for ruining our lands, when it is proven time and again it is their cattle ruining our environment. Then taxpayers also cover the replenishment costs of cattle grazing on public lands — Double-Dipping of taxpayer money constantly!

Welfare ranchers don't want the public to know that even the wealthiest in the livestock industry are paid for with taxpayer money, all profit goes to ranchers and farmers and zero to taxpayers. Grazing on public lands is paid for with your tax dollars, so is the destruction of the environment and ecosystems.”

Now for baiting, which is another horrid crime. Hunters, ranchers, and farmers will leave livestock out enough to where they are in danger of being killed, and when their livestock is killed they cry fowl and kill the wild animal “responsible.” for killing, they also get money to replace the lost livestock. One of the Yellowstone wolves, was killed by baiting. Now it's getting out of control, hunters and other people are planning to use dogs as bait to kill wolves and other wild life, when they well know that the dogs will end up dead or hurt. But the hunters don't care.

This is animal cruelty at the highest point, which is a punishable offense by law. So why can hunters get away with this? What gives them the right to kill a puppy and pin it onto a tree to lure out a wild animal. Or intentionally leave a dead animal's carcass in the open for wild animal to eat or take back to its family? This needs to stop.

Baiting and trapping needs to be banned in all states, there has been reports of dogs eating poisoned meats and died from it, left behind by a hunter, there's also been reports of dogs dying in traps.

Sports hunting also needs to be banned, there is no reason why people can go out and kill our wild life. When it states that wild life belongs to the public. Especially, when the animals the trophy hunters are killing are endangered and critically endangered, such as: Tigers, Rhino's, and Elephants. We are on the verge of an ecological break down if this continues.

Let me, bring up Hounding, what is hounding? If you ask yourself that then allow me to explain. Hounding is when a hunter allows a pack of dogs run wild as they chase down a wild animal, once the wild animal is exhausted it is subjected to horrid torture of the dogs ripping it apart and then the hunter will kill it and any baby animals the now dead animal may have had. This practice is used on bears in order to be ready to take on wolves and the pregnant female and or her pups. However, injury is not only on the wild animal side, it also happens to the dogs there has been cases when dogs have died from this. Yet the hunters can get away with it.

They aren't charged with animal cruelty, but instead, they can get another dog!

Hunters protected from harassment.

Yet, they can do this to other people's pets and they can get away with it too. Because, if someone tries to stop them from killing their pet, that person gets charged with harassment, gets prison time and has to pay a fine. Hunters are not above anyone else, they should be held accountable for their actions.

For my last topic, animal serial killers. These people needs to be put away for good they show intentions on what they can do a person, or a child for that matter. They parade around their kill and show it off, they show criminal intention. What is to stop an animal serial killer from torturing a person? Or they kidnap a child, and they beat and torture this child until it dies? Those who kill a voiceless creature will move up onto something that may fight back, such as a man or a woman, with intentions to kill and or cause extreme harm said victim. We need to get these people off of the streets and into prison and or a mental hospital. They need to be marked down as animal abusers too. We have laws that forces people to let others know they are sex offenders, and child abusers. It's time that animals gets that same law. To protect them from people who seeks to do them harm.

We need to ban traps, baiting, hounding and sports hunting, we need to put away animal serial killers, for it's only a matter of time before they grow tired of killing animals and they go after children or other people.

Sincerely,

Ban all trapping, baiting, hounders and sports hunting, put away animal serial killers.
