Speaking out on Homosexuality

To let people clearly hear the Cleveland Diocese position on homosexuality

To: Cleveland Diocese

Dear Bishop Richard Lennon,
August 9th will commence the Cleveland Gay Games at Quicken Loans Arena in downtown Cleveland. This event is organized with the clear intent of promoting homosexuality as a new norm for our society. On behalf of thousands of concerned faithful Catholics, clergy, Christians and pastors; sheep in the need of guidance from the shepherd, we humbly ask for your support in issuing a clear concise public statement reminding all Catholics and Christians that homosexual acts are a grave moral disorder. They are a mortal sin.
People running races, swimming laps in a pool or doing other Olympic type activities can be enjoyable and community building. However, a public statement from the Cleveland Diocese, (since the Gay Games are in Cleveland), a statement reminding the children of God that homosexual acts can never be accepted. “…Under no circumstances can they be approved.” (CCC 2357) is absolutely crucial, it is absolutely necessary!

Thanking you in advance for your strong leadership in this matter.
May God Bless you and the Cleveland Diocese.
Sincerely,

Sincerely,
