Smokey the Mini Therapy Horse Has Been Kidnapped!

  • by: Care2 Team
  • recipient: San Diego Police Department
Smokey is a 2-foot mini horse who works with children and adults with autism and veterans with PTSD. But he was stolen from his home and his girlfriend on March 21st in the middle of a storm.

Please sign the petition to tell San Diego authorities to get serious about finding Smokey.

Smokey's girlfriend, a white mini horse name Sol Blanca, is beside herself with worry. The owner of Ferdinand's Familia & Rescue and Sanctuary Ranch, Michael Pratt, says he is sure Smokey is terrified out there and that Sol Blanca is absolutely heartbroken. Pratt discovered Smokey was stolen when he found a broken lock on his pen.

Smokey is worth about $5,000, so it's most likely someone stole him to sell him. This is despicable. Smokey is a beloved therapy horse who helps children and adults with their difficulties, and we must demand he is returned to his home and his girlfriend.

Help get Smokey back by spreading the word and demanding San Diego police treat this like a human kidnapping and really work to find Smokey.
