Everyday an animal is born and someone has to care for it. By caring for the animal you make it into a pet. You provide the food, shelter and medicine for the animal. Then there are other expenses like toys, treats and training. If a person were to provide poor conditions for their pet, then they would be facing serious crimes. Pets depend on their owners for everything. By making them pets we've taken the responsibility to care for them. They become family. Most people care more for their pets than their own family. Animals are completely dependant on their owners. Owners have expenses just as parents with children do. We owners love our pets as children and need the extra support that people with children have. Why are pets not considered dependants on our tax forms?
