- This contains areca nut which contains arecoline(mild narcotic). A person who becomes addicted to it becomes a slave of it. There is no other way to relieve himself other than chew a pack of Pan masala/Gutkha.
- It affects the central nervous system as well as the reproductive system. Studies shows that Pan masala/Gutkha chewers show tailless sperms in their seminiferous tubules.
