Give The Orcas A Voice

Everyday the orcas in sea world are poorly taken care of. Of course they are fed, and see daylight. But it's not enough. These beautiful creatures are emotionally broken. For example, Tilikum. A 32 year old orca that was captured at a young age and taken out of his pod from his mother against his will and confined to a small concrete tank for profit. These amazing animals have a receptor in their brain that allows them to interpret emotion. They feel, they have sense of self. Maybe more than we do. And they bond with their pods and stay by their mothers for their whole life. And these people ripped them away from their family. Just like a child being kidnapped from its family.

At seaworld they tell us that the average life span is 35 years, but they live longer in captivity. They say the dorsal fin collapses as they get older. Yet the truth is that they live up to 80-90 years and the dorsal collapse is a sign of being unhealthy- When was the last time you saw a free wild orca with a collapsed fin? The so called Seaworld trainers, aren't even trainers at all. They don't have marine biology degrees- They've even said it themselves that all they know is how to train them, yet they know nothing about the orcas as animals. People need to step up and realize that everything seaworld is doing is wrong and inhumane. Seaworld presents itself as a family establishment full of fun activities however, these 'fun activities' harm the orcas physically and emotionally. Please say no to Seaworld and help us stand against this. These precious animals need our help. They can't do it on their own.
