To prevent the unnecessary scarring of our lovely Irish landscape, petition for wind power to be put off shore, its more efficent without destroying Ireland's lovely hills. P.S. and creates a protective environment for future fish stocks.

Dear Minister,
We wish to raise awareness of the proliferation of wind farms and pylons across our green landscape dispoiling the natural Irish beauty. Wind is a valuable renewable form of energy but surely not at the destruction of our main tourism asset, our previously unspoiled landscape. Alternatives and more reliable forms of energy are available such as off- shore windfarms, tidal energy, biomass, geothermal hydro and solar.
This is a form of industrial vandalism on our countryside that should be given serious consideration as to the real benefits of what is an unreliable source of energy.
We urge you not to let this destruction continue on your watch.
