The Morris View Family Group is a grass roots effort. It was formed by family members of the Morris View Healthcare Center. We want to know the current and future states of the facility, so we can ensure the ongoing care of our loved ones.
What does this facility currently offer to families that the others do not?
§ Not-for-profit (more of the money we pay goes to the care of our loved ones, not to shareholders or private owners).
§ Excellent state ratings and oversight with frequent inspections.
§ Clean, spacious, and well lighted hallways/rooms/common areas.
§ A Nursing Staff with open communication and trained CNA’s that care for the residents.
§ There are social workers, dieticians, physical therapy, and activities.
§ A beautiful Atrium and outside patios for residents to enjoy.
§ An opportunity to give people a sense of purpose through social activities or just having hallways large enough to be able to get around in a wheelchair.
§ Quarterly meetings to review the residents’ healthcare with staff.
§ Caregivers are able to keep their jobs, which in turn contributes to the financial stability of our communities.
§ Fewer ambulance trips and hospital stays for chronically ill and elderly patients.
§ An active family member group that is involved.
§ Peace of mind in knowing that our loved one is safe and getting the care that they so much need. This is now their home.
Morris View is an amazing gem hidden in the hills of Morris County. As a community we need to show our support and let the Freeholders know how much we appreciate Morris View.
