Louis Zamperini is a heroic example not only for his service for our country%2C but perseverance over insurmountable odds and the ability to choose forgiveness and peace over hate and retribution. He served our country%2C was a record breaking Olympic Athlete and a shining example of what the human man is capable of physically%2C mentally and spirituality. His story is awe inspiring and will live on as it should but also deserves remembrance on a national level in the way of a day memoralizing his birthday and all his accomplishments and pure dedication to the United States and remain an inspiration for all time.
