When I was a little girl, I lived south ...In Helsinki...in the fact 50 years of my life. Then we lived time after second worldwar and there was no pollution at all. This plant cat's paw was very usual in Helsinki too.

I didn't find the english name but if you are interested ask me the latin name.

When I moved to Lapland the next summer I notished that the Cat's paw exists there but it was growing horizontal like almost everything in the Northern Lapland. There was pink and white of them.

Once again the pollution is reason why tender plants extinct. Where it was they were like a carpet but also in Lapland only single plants or two three together. But there are more the inflorescencies in one plant. Thre are needed two different plants to dust it.

It is still growing on the bare fjeld areas. The plant looks like hairy which don't let the water off the flower.
