There has recently been a great deal of concern by UK buyers of meat, that their burgers and other products are "contaminated" with Horse Meat. Why is this. Most people in the UK find the idea of consuming Horse Flesh disgusting. However their concern goes no further than saying "I dont want it on my plate". But have they thought why this is? Most horses work long hard lives on behalf of their human masters. Their reward? An often gruelling journey across various parts of Europe with no food or water, subjected to horrifying cruelty, finally to end up in the horror of the abatoir. The heartless "rearing" of all animals for one purpose alone (murder) is disgusting and the best way to not eat unidentified flesh is to go veggie, so easy these days with the vast array of products available and so much more healthy for you. But in the meantime let these sensitive and gentle beings end their days in a Sanctuary and not in a terrifying blood soaked slaughter house! Its time our so called "civilised society" started in the right direction by banning the sale of Horse Meat across Europe.
