Illiteracy is the common factor for poverty in America.
The latest 2012 statistics report that fourteen percent (32 million) of U.S. adults can’t read. Twenty-one percent (50 million) read below a 5th grade level. Seventy percent of prison inmates can’t read. Nineteen Percent of high school graduates can’t read. The number of American adults who are classified as functionally illiterate increases by about 2.25 million each year.
We created an educational tool for children and adults to help eradicate illiteracy worldwide. Our patent pending product the EZ Learn Stencil Tablet™ is the World's First Portable Stationary Stencil Handwriting Tool. With the 12 educational writing stencil tablet templates that are accompanied with the writing tablet, there are no breaks between the strokes of the letters or numbers so that continuous movement can be achieved as in writing. Eradicating future illiteracy is very simple, it starts with educating our children differently and more effectively. By targeting and training our kids ages 3-9 (Our future generation of Leaders) we will help cease the spread of this epidemic.
