Many of the issues affecting the brown bears in hunting and habitat loss.  Often times, mother bears are killed, leaving behind defenseless young.  Without this incredible organization, the IFAW Bear Rescue Center, so many of these bears, especially cubs would not survive.  Each winter, more and more baby bears are abandoned or orphaned when losing their mom. Once rescued by this organization, bears can live happy, healthy lives, getting all the essentials and care they need.  Sometimes they can be re-released back into the wild and some need to remain in their care.

Providing this crucial care for the bears at the IFAW Bear Rescue Center in Russia, with necessary food, medication and warm homes is a costly endeavor but one that is vital for the many needy bears in the area.  Our efforts in this petition is to encourage the government to provide much needed financial support so that this organization can keep up with its critical work in saving the brown bears of the area.  You can help us in our efforts by signing and sharing this petition.

President of Russia, Vladimir Putin - The IFAW Bear Rescue Center in Russia is a vital organization that is crucial for the health and well-being of so many brown bears in your country but their work cannot continue without necessary funding and support.  We strongly urge you to take essential steps that would ensure this organization can continue its work in saving and protecting bears in Russia, often young cubs without a mother to care for them.  Please do whatever is necessary to support the IFAW Bear Rescue Center in Russia and keep it up and running for many, many years to come.
