BAN P.E. (PHYSICAL EDUCATION) FROM SCHOOLS ACROSS THE US

I am here to talk about my petition. I believe that P.E. should be banned or become and optional class for schools across the United States for many reasons but here’s just a few. Kids with dissabilities feel left out in this class because they simply can’t do the same things that we can do. They can do amazing things but maybe just not this one. All of this information on that topic is gathered from watching and observing children with a special needs in my PE classes. Also kids
that fall along the category of transgender are often offended with not knowing what class to be in and being forced into their original genders class when they do not consider themselves to be that. It puts stress on them not being able to be recognized for who they are. How would you feel if your name was John but people called you Brad? You would feel misplaced and left out for as long as that went on. Also schools that require you to dress out often make people with body confidence issues make them feel alone and shamed. These feelings could lead to depression which leads to a higher teen death rate in the United States. One of the leading causes of teen deaths is because of issues at school including bullying which could be because of body issues. Also kids who have certain religions where showing a certain amount of skin or even changing in front of people is sinful have trouble passionately believing in what they were taught. Isn’t school supposed to teach us to take pride in what we believe in? Oh and you can’t forget about the kids go try their hardest but can’t run the miles and can’t keep pushing themselves so hard that they hurt. What about whenever kids are injured and they ask to go to the athletic trainer to get help but they aren’t in athletics they feel shamed in not knowing what to do. Kids who feel like PE is a useless class will rebel and become a worse student since they are worried about what they will say to the teachers and what they will use as their excuse to get out of the class. Here is what I say. I vote that we replace PE with a class that could be more beneficial taht helps build kids up and keep them the strongest they can be! I support this cause sign up if you do to!
