GOD PLEASE HELP ME. These were the words scrawled in blood on the wall of a jail cell at the Warren County Jail in Ohio. After enduring 11 days of brutality in which the Washington Post states she was raped by at least two guards, the victim was found naked, catatonic, covered in her own blood and feces, and begging for her mother to hold her.
When she was finally given medical attention she was found to have sustained a shattered shoulder due to the blunt force trauma of the rapes. In addition, tests showed semen in her urine.
It all started when the victim "Jane Doe" turned herself in for a 4-year-old warrant related to a drug charge. What followed is a list of horrors that no human being should ever have to endure. A lawsuit has been filed on her behalf and in addition to the rape, tasing and brutal beatings, the jails nurses are accused of refusing to give her needed medication for epilepsy. The result of this was frequent seizures. Her cell window was covered with a garbage bag to hide the crimes. Her clothes were taken away from her and the water was turned off in her cell; forcing her to drink water from the toilet.
Please sign this petition calling on the Ohio Attorney General to investigate this case and determine how it was possible for such brutal acts of violence to occur and create policy changes to insure it never happens again!

We (the undersigned) are sickened and shocked to learn of the alleged rape and inhumane treatment of a woman in the Warren County Jail.
As reported in the Washington Post:
The inmate was so desperate for help that she attempted to write the words on her jail cell wall, in her own blood: “God, please help me.”
The reports go on to list a myriad of beatings, tasings, rapes, withholding water and clothes and medicine for epilepsy. This 38-year-old woman endured so much abuse for 11 days that it rendered her catatonic!
We implore you to investigate this matter to the fullest extent of the law and enforce new policies to insure that it will never happen again!
