Visual objects are present everywhere to promote a multitude of reasons. This petition is to have the right to gain access to an area in the state of NY. This spot would be dedicated to Lord Hanuman who is known as the God of Strength. He is known throughout the world and is worshiped by millions of people. There are about 1 billion Hindus worldwide and this would give them happiness to know that Americans have carried their religion’s god to the United States.
This would ultimately attract more tourist and be a sacred place in NY. It would To increase the awareness one of Hindu’s favorite deities Hanuman and educate those who don't know. Functions and festivals could be celebrated here and people would be able to go and pray at convenient hours set by the state. This would also establish Hinduism in America to collaborate with the other prominent religions.
There are no large monumental Hindu statues in the United States. There are many statues across the states which depict significant meaning and culture respectfully. Hinduism should not be left out. It is a religion which teaches acceptance and peace among everything and everyone. Our departed ancestors would be proud and our future generations would be happy to know we have done this.
