Tell Congress: Don't Deny Reproductive Rights to Women

As the talk of fetal personhood amendments becomes more of a frightening reality throughout the United States, American lawmakers may begin promoting an extreme anti-choice law on the federal level.

Congress Republicans have introduced three bills nearly identical to the Mississippi bill that states that life begins at fertilization and a zygote should receive full protection under the law.

Not only would abortion become the equivalent of murder, but this bill could also include the ban of hormonal contraceptions such as the "morning after" pill, intrauterine devices and birth control pills that anti-abortion advocates claim prevents the fertilized egg from attaching itself to the uterus.

The rights given to women under Roe v. Wade should not be dismissed and women of the United States should not be fighting for the rights of their own bodies.

Tell Congress to not eliminate reproductive rights in the United States!

We the undersigned would like to express our opposition to HR 212, HR 374 and S 91.

The three fetal personhood bills do not only restrict women’s reproductive rights as given by Roe v. Wade but they go so far as to restrict contraception that significantly reduces unwanted pregnancies.

These extreme anti-choice bills are a mockery to the rights of women in the United States.

Do not ignore the rights of women with the approval of these bills and keep anti-choice legislation out of the United States.

Thank you for taking our concerns into serious consideration.
