Make city bus travel in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, affordable!

I am very dissatisfied with the bus services. It is ironic to have to pay at least $3.10 per ride. That's at least six dollars a day if one has to travel to and from some place. In most other cities, the bus fares are only about half of that. Most people who ride the buses don't have high-paying jobs, and are in fact on a very low income. The current bus fare is not a fair deal.

City transit needs to act on riders' opinions, and in most cases, they do not. In my experience, they don't take riders complaints seriously, but are dismissive of them. I am very bothered that they do not care about the opinions of riders. It is obvious that the city transit staff don't even ride the buses, but rely on their own cars; therefore, I do not feel they are capable of understanding the difficulties that bus riders have to cope with. I want Saskatoon to be a highly liveable city for people who don't have cars.

I am under the impression that City Transit is trying to save money on the backs of low-income people.
