Save Stowey Farm

The council have put an enforcement notice on the caravan that is on Stowey Farm Yatton (to remove from site as they say it is not used for agricultural purposes of the land) we are appealing this as the caravan is relied on greatly on the farm it is where we sell the farms organic and free range produce, all animal medicines are stored in cupboards and the fridge the staff shelter and take their breaks in the caravan. the staff and visitors of the farm use the washing and toilet facility's which are essential when interacting with animals, the farm office is also in the caravan where chicken incubators are used to hatch eggs, the only electric on site is in the caravan and the only water apart from a animals drinking trough. We also stay in the caravan when needed at times of animals ill health or due to birth, we breed Alpacas, pygmy goats, pigs rare breed sheep, chickens and ducks. We produce high quality meat, sausages and eggs, and sell livestock to fellow breeders, The animals are of high quality and worth, if the caravan has to go then this will mean the closing of the farm, whilst is a free open farm for Yatton residents to enjoy!
