Gender Equality

Did you know that 50% of the worlds population is female yet they are not treated the same it was a lot worse back then but it is still a problem today. Either they are not getting paid as much as men or not given the same opportunities of men. Here are some ways on how we as a community can change the way on how we treat women.
The Canadian Imperial Bank Of commerce has about 800,000 women entrepreneurs in Canada. Their numbers have increased 60% faster than the growth in the number of male entrepreneurs since 1989. In other countries women aren't treated as fairly, for example in the United States women need flexible work arrangements to balance work and home life, in Venezuela one of their traditions is that women needs a mentor and her husbands's approvel to get a job, In South Africa crime and violence happen when going and from work, Germany they strongly pressure in society for women to stay home so they can get tax benefits, Japan they are uncertain about continuing jobs in firms that once promised lifetime employments, and in Chile discrimination in the kinds of jobs women can hold and in benefits and wages provided.

Even though we have many problems of with this situation but there are some potential ways on how to solve it. for poverty we can help individual women use fiancial services and resources and increase women's land ownership and property rights, for unpaid labour we can have governments equip women with skills to improve their economic and social status and promote and fund education for girls and women to allow them to participate freely in the information, education, and tecnology parts of their economies, sweatshop labour we can take legal actions against manufactureres and retailers that exploit workers, and stage international consumer boycotts whereby people choose not to buy products that are produced by exploited workers, and lastly for highly competitive globalized marketplace we can provide women entrepenuers with technical and fiancial support, and increase training for women entrepenuers, including the use of technology.
