Alcohol abuse is a leading cause of both health and domestic violence issues in Australia. Do we really need 2 stores in a shopping complex, surely 1 is plenty.
I grew up with an alcoholic father who abused both my mother, myself and 3 siblings.
It puts a large burden on both health authorities and the justice system, let alone the police officers working on the front line. Both Woolworths and Coles are huge conglomerates who are only interested in the bottom line. Do we want our future generations growing up thinking Alcohol goes hand in hand with our grocery shopping?
