Stop white-washing of American history classes!

The issue of race in this country is undoubtedly a big one. It can be attributed due to ignorance towards African American contributions to American society and fostered by American history classes who only report white American history. African American history is American history, and it even says it in the title, African AMERICAN. Let us ask for mandatory curriculum of African American history and African AMerican studies to have a more inclusive and fair representation of American history, including all its substituents.
