Rename St. Albans Park into Malik "Phife Dawg" Taylor Park

Malik Taylor was a local resident of New York. He was a member of the music grouped A Tribe Called Quest. A Tribe Called Quest is a Grammy winning Hip-Hop group that was established in 1985. Malik "Phife Dawg" Taylor's national and international cultural influence, via music and sports. Has left a positive affect on many lives today. St. Albans Park nurtured and entertained the spirit of "Phife Dawg". Therefore,  it is believed that an honor should be bestowed on Malik Taylor and St. Albans Park. In renaming St. Albans Park into Malik Taylor Park.

I have been a close friend of Malik's since I was a child. He was my brother. So this project has been therapeutic & a honor at the same time. I would like to say a special thank you to the media groups:AllHipHop.com,Salon.com,Billboard.com,DNAinfo.com,NewYorkTimes.com,Twitter.com,Facebook.com and many more. I will close the petition at 10,000. Thank you to all the fans, friends and family that went to St. Albans Park after the memorial.

Hello Friends,

I am so happy to see that so many signatures have appeared on this wonderful petition. In less than 2 days we have gotten more than 1,000 signatures!!!! So please share this petition I would like to has many signature we can present to the Department of Recreation.
