PETITION FOR A TURNING SIGNAL ON NORDHOFF BETWEEN ALABAMA AND CANOGA

On May 8th, 2014 my father Manuel Galvan Sr. was on his motorcycle heading home from the gym. On his way home, a metropolitan bus made a left turn in front of him causing him to collide with said bus. My father died in the accident.

My main goal in this is to make the LOS ANGELES COUNTY responsible for improving our traffic signals. I want them to add a light so that this can never happen to anyone else, and no other family have to experience what my mother, brother and myself have gone through.

I ask you to sign this with nothing but my father in mind. He was truly a spectacular man with nothing but the best intentions for himself and others in life. After grieving so heavily, I've finally found the strength to come out swinging and fight for something that matters to me and others around me. He didn't deserve to get his life cut short this way. And I am here to make sure there is a change in how the county goes about handling their traffic signals from now on. I'm determined to make this change and all I need is your support and signature for this to happen. Thank you.

Sign this petition to demand a turning signal on Nordhoff between Alabama and Canoga to save lives in honor of my father.

I, Monica Galvan hereby petition the County of Los Angeles to implement a traffic signal on Nordhoff at the metropolitan bus return between the streets of Alabama and Canoga.

On May 8th my father was involved in a collision with a metropolitan bus as it was making a left turn into its station. The bus turned into oncoming traffic as my father was driving home down Nordhoff and lost his life in result of this accident.

I DEMAND that the County of Los Angeles fully fund and install a traffic signal that would deter such a tragic incident from happening again.
