YouTube used to be about the content creator. Now, it's all about making money. YouTube's main source of revenue is from advertising, and the stupid, failing Wall Street Journal has tricked all these companies into thinking their advertisements aren't safe with certain kinds of content on YouTube. This forced YouTube to change their monetization rules. A lot of channels have been demonetized in the process. This is very bad, considering how showing ads on a video is how some content creators MAKE A LIVING. This new system also makes it harder for smaller YouTubers to rise up with the big dogs. So please, help this petition reach Google and YouTube and bring back the days of when YouTube was for the creator, not the advertiser.
